Austria Auction Company Collector Rugs

The Austria Auction Company will be holding their Collector Rugs-No Reserve sale on 10th September 2022, 307 lots will go under the hammer including a large selection of Turkmen rugs, carpets and trappings. Stand out pieces include lot 223 a Tekke Turkmen carpet with more guls than usual, estimate €2,400-3,000, over thirty lots of Chinese, Xinjiang and Tibetan rugs, also a very fine silk warp Senneh kilim, lot 273 estimate €3,000-4,000, and a fine selection of Caucasian rugs including lot 54 Fachralo Kazak rug from southwest Caucasus estimate €4,000-6,000 dating from circa 1880.
