Material Culture Oriental Rug and Carpet Auction

Material Culture Auction House will be holding there eclectic sale of 431 lots of Oriental and decretive antique rugs and carpets from estates and private collections from New England to the west coast at their Philadelphia sale rooms on the 27th February 2023. some of the standout pieces are an 18th century Karabagh rug from the Kirchheim collection, their are a number of rugs from Anatolia and numerous Caucasian rugs. Forty four Persian Serapi and Heriz carpets along with Oushak, Sultanabad, Kashan, Kerman and Bakhtiari will also be up for sale.
