Persian rugs by the Master weaver Amogli

Amogli was a Master weaver from the Persian city of Meshed. His rugs were distinguished from other Khorasan rugs by their blue selvedge. Amogli died at the beginning of the twentieth century, but rugs woven by him can still be found and are often signed. Meshed rugs in general are hard wearing and can represent good value, so if your looking for a Persian rug, Meshed's are worth a look.
