Material Culture Auctions of Philadelphia will be holding their Antique Rugs from American Estates sale on Wednesday 27th March. The auction includes 433 lots of fine antique rugs and carpets, some of the stand out pieces are Lot 190 and early 20th century Persian Sarouk size 7.04m x 4.34m, Estimated  $7,000-$10,000, and Lot 222 a Persian Sultanabad circa 1890 size 4.42m x 3.33m, Estimated  $6,000-$9,000 and Lot 55 a late 20th century Caucasian Karachov Kazak size 2.51m x 1.65m, Estimated $1,500-$2,000. On the 19th March 2024, Dorotheum Auction will be holding their Oriental Carpets, Textiles and Tapestries sale at their Vienna premises. The auction will include 224 lots of fine oriental rugs and carpets, some pieces of note are Lot 107 a 17th century Persian Khorassan carpet size 3.15m x 1.61m, Starting bid €6,000, and Lot 177 a fine Manchester wool Persian Kashan carpet size 4.04m x 2.87m. Schuler Auctions of Zurich will be holding their live auction of oriental rugs, carpets and textiles from 15th-20th March 2024.
