Sotheby’s London Arts of the Islamic World Auction

Sotheby's Auction House London will be holding their Arts of the Islamic world sale on Wednesday 10th June 2020. The sale will include fine oriental rugs and carpets, from a  prominent private collection. among this consignment are a number of rare examples, including a well known Ushak saf lot 253, and a beautiful Khorasan fragment lot 282. Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers has an oriental rug and carpet sale on 10th June 2020. The sale offers a fine selection of classical rugs and carpets from the Caucasus, Turkey and Persia, and a few Flemish tapestries. The highlights of the sale is a stunning late 19th century Persian Sultanabad Safavid design carpet.
