Wannenes Antique Carpet, Rugs and Tapestries Auction

Wannenes auction house in Milan will be holding their Antique Carpets, Rugs and Tapestries sale at their Palazzo Recalcati premises on 13th June 2025. The sale includes a number of rare oriental rugs and carpets among them a beautiful 19th century Persian Serapi rug and two rare tantric Tibetan ritual carpets and a large 18th century French Aubusson tapestry. Lot 119, the Persian Serapi rug has a estimate of €5,000-7,000. Also a Chinese dragon pillar rug, and some rare Buddhist ritual pieces. And a selection of mid-20th century European tapestries and two grand 18th century Aubusson will feature. Bukowskis auction house of Stockholm will be hosting their Spring sale on 11-12 June 2025. The sale will include 108 lots of important oriental rugs, carpets and tapestries. Public viewing will be held at Berzelii Park Stockholm.
